I'm happily married and have two sons ages 13 & 16. I'm a time traveler, costumer, daydreamer and history buff. I enjoy going to costume events, sewing with friends, watching costume flicks, playing with and costuming my bjds, reading Victorian sensation fiction, games, surfing the web, having tea, walking, cooking, biking, collecting fabric and reading biographies of 18th or 19th century personalities. I also love yoga, crafting, painting and writing and chasing my boys around.

If you want to just read about my costuming you can follow by costuming blog at

My livejournal is about 50% costuming and 50% parenting/personal. Feel free to friend me, but you may or may not be friended in return. It’s nothing personal, I'm just trying to keep my friends list manageable and my family's privacy intact. I don't friend people who have no entries and no user info unless I know them in real life and I don't friend people whose entries are all memes/quizzes. If you've met me in real life tell me your real name and how we met and what we have in common!

If you found me through the ball-jointed doll world or you're interested in dolls and doll costumes you should check out my other LJ: dollhausfrau -
